Alli’s Book Club

I had the awesome privilege to spend time with a wonderful group of women last night who’d read Cheyenne and loved it! Alli, whose last name shall remain anonymous for security reasons (don’t want mad, crazy people like Anita stalking you), was kind enough to ask me to come to her book club.

Now ladies, please don’t be upset with me about calling it Alli’s book club, I’m only calling it that because it had to have a name and I knew her and well she asked me to come and visit with all of you! Whew, now that that’s out of the way, let me tell you about last night…

This was such a fun and energetic group that it was the perfect ending to an off day (see previous post: The Warning Signs and you’ll understand). We sat around for over two hours discussing various aspects of Cheyenne. What made her lovable, comical, heartfelt and so many others I wouldn’t have enough room to list them all!

We had a vote on who was Team Callon and Team Colt. We discussed how I came up with the crazy idea and how the heck I was able to write so many in the series already. We also discussed how they could help me as an author! I’m telling you these ladies are diamonds as some already posted their reviews on Amazon!

We laughed, giggled, snorted and then I had everyone put their name in a hat and gave away prizes! Yes, I gave away prizes, two of the rings and one ARC (advanced readers copy) copy that still had some typos in it (I told the winner it’d be worth loads one day and she believed me!)

Then there was the wonderful Heather who on the spot bought a book from me because I said I had extra copies and then I forgot to give her change back! Yeah, that goes with the whole warning sign story too… my mind was in a bit of a blur yesterday and I’m surprised I was actually able to form coherent sentences!

The best part in all of this you ask? THEY WANT ME BACK! Yes, you heard it… they want me to come back again and talk with them about Promises, the second book in The Timeless Series Novels which is set to release May 15th. *deep sigh* I’m telling you this group of ladies is AWESOME!
