What’s this you say? Why does spring equal pink? Well let me tell you…Okay, just to be clear, this is totally and completely my own opinion. Yup, it’s all me and my craziness coming out for you to see… it’s me being real (run now while you can save yourself!).
So spring equals pink, green, purple, yellow and… well it equals a lot of different colors. It’s the time of buds opening, flower pedals pushing through the moist earth and saying, “Hey! Look at me!”
It’s a time when I get to adore the variations of pinks and purples and smell the sweet fragrance in the air. I get to witness the wonder of nature and feel the touch of a soft petal against my cheek as I close my eyes and let my imagination run wild.
I’m blessed with the opportunity to push my fingers into the earth and plant the bulbs awaiting in my garage… the Sweet Autumn Clematis, Peony and Astibe. Thrilled am I to sprinkle the Wildflower mix in the planter beds. I wait in anticipation for the full awakening of the buds and watch them mature into the beautiful creation they were always meant to be….
Spring is an awakening, it’s nature coming out of its dormant winter stage and it’s the vibrance of life springing forth. It makes me want to go for walks and runs, it makes me want to be near the blooms and wonder how such simple beauty can come from something so delicate and small.
It makes me ponder the dormant winter of my life and excites me about what spring will behold. Change is in the air and it’s not just for the flowers anymore….
